Introducing Solvig Sayre
For Immediate Release:
The Sailing Foundation is excited to announce the appointment of Solvig Sayre as our new Youth Sailing Director. An extensive search began in December 2022, which yielded over a dozen applicants, five of whom were selected as finalists. This impressive group included domestic and international candidates with a diverse range of sailing, coaching, and non-profit management experience. After a rigorous interview and screening process, Solvig emerged as our clear frontrunner. She has since accepted our offer of employment and will officially join our team on June 1, 2023.
Coaches Clinic/Youth Leadership Symposium
Our 15th Annual Coaches Clinic/Youth Leadership Symposium was held Saturday, January 28 at Corinthian Yacht Club of Seattle. Coaches, program administrators, commodores and more connected and shared ideas across a wide array of topics.
